Michael Duduit is founding Dean of the College of Christian Studies and the Clamp Divinity School at Anderson University in Anderson, SC, where he also serves as Dean of the Chapel and Professor of Christian Ministry. He serves as Executive Editor of Preaching magazine, a publication he founded in 1985. He writes PreachingNow, a weekly e-mail newsletter read by more than 15,000 pastors and church leaders. Michael is founder and director of the National Conference on Preaching and the International Congress on Preaching. A graduate of Stetson University and Southern Baptist Seminary, he received a Ph.D. from Florida State University. He is the author or editor of more than a dozen books, including the Handbook of Contemporary Preaching, Joy in Ministry, Preaching With Power, and Communicate With Power. Michael has been a pastor, church planter, associate pastor, youth pastor and interim pastor in a variety of churches in Florida, Indiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina. He previously served as an administrator and teacher at several institutions, including Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Samford University, and Union University. He currently serves as President of the Evangelical Homiletics Society. He and his wife Laura have two sons, James and Stephen.
