Is the EKBPC for women and men?

The E.K. Bailey Preaching Conference is designed to equip effective preachers and ministry leaders in growing their skills and practice the exposition of Scripture. Our goal is to equip all leaders – both men and women.

Do you have to be Senior Pastor to attend?

No, you do not have to be a Senior Pastor. Attendees should have a love for preaching and leading.

Is the Conference designed for bi-vocational pastors?

The conference is designed for all preachers and leaders. Our goal is to equip ministry leaders, associate ministers, associate pastors and senior pastors.

Are the evening sessions free?

Yes, the evening sessions at the conference and Wednesday night at Concord are open to the public.


What is the certification/tracking program?

The tracking program is an incentive program for returning attendees. Those attendees who may not be able to attend seminary or who desire an official record of their attendance and learning may benefit from the certification program.

How does it work?

It is an opportunity to receive credit for the workshops and mini-conferences that are attended.

  • 2 credits for Mini Conference
  • 1 credit for RoundTable
  • 20 Credits afford a Certificate in Expository Preaching & Teaching
  • 35 Credits afford an Advanced Certificate in Expository Preaching & Teaching

How do I sign-up?

Visit the registration desk and obtain your conference packet. You can proceed to the Certification/Tracking booth and request your form. This year, you may also use the APP to track your workshops and mini-conferences.

Can credit be received for workshops with same subject and different speakers?

Yes, attendees will receive one credit for each workshop.


What is Ministry Mates?

Ministry Mates is designed to equip, encourage and empower pastor’s wives for their unique and specific roles of ministry. Ministry Mates is an extended family of pastor’s wives helping each other maximize their lives, influence and impact through gatherings, trainings and resources. Ministry Mates is the brainchild of Dr. Tara Jenkins. Dr. Jenkins has partnered with First Lady Stephanie Carter to host an inspirational day and half pastor wives’ conference. The conference is especially designed for spouses of senior pastors, associate pastors, preachers and ministry staff.

When and where do they meet?

Ministry Mates begins Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the International Ballroom.

When and Where is the Ministry Couples Luncheon?

The Ministry Couples Luncheon is Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 12 noon in the International Ballroom. If you are EKBPC registrant, you can attend for $40 until June 26, 2020 and $45 on Monday night at the registration desk. The luncheon cost is NOT included in Ministry Mates’ registration. 


What is it?

Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 7:00 pm, we will have a worship service at Concord Church. The address is 6808 Pastor Bailey Dr., Dallas, TX 75237. There will be two preachers and this worship service is open to the public.

How can I get to the worship service?

Buses will transport attendees to the church. The buses will be located at Ross Avenue side of the Fairmont Hotel. Buses will depart from hotel beginning at 5:15 pm.


What are the Mini-Conferences?

We are offering a variety of specialty four-hour mini-conferences. You will have the opportunity to hear best practices on the development and the delivery of preaching in today’s culture. Sign-up for these essential and engaging conferences to strengthen your preaching.

How do I register?

Visit the registration desk. The cost is $99 per mini-conference. They are offered on Monday and Wednesday.

Can I attend a mini-conference without registering for the conference?

No, you must be registered for the EKBPC in order to register for the mini-conferences.


What is the Round Table Discussion?

The Round Table Discussion is an invitation to hear from a collection of preachers and their perspectives on the issues surveyed in the conference scriptures. This year the emphasis is Psalms: Reaching the Heart of the People. The preachers will share their views and answer questions that assist in understanding the book of Psalms. Speakers TBA.

When and where is the Round Table Discussion?

The Round Table Discussion is Thursday at 10:30 am in the Regency Ballroom.


Logos is designed specifically for preachers and bible teachers. Learn how to write your message, create all the PowerPoints and media, assist in small group handouts, export message points to the church bulletin, and format your manuscript or outline with easy-to-read speaking prompts.

Scott Lindsey will demonstrate the incredible tools Thursday morning at 9:15 am in the Regency Ballroom with valuable giveaways. He will also host workshops on Thursday afternoon.


What is the Living Legend Luncheon?

For approximately 24 years we have honored a preacher who has made a lifetime of contributions to the preaching community. We honor that at the Living Legend Luncheon. This year, our Honoree is Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer.

The Living Legend Luncheon is Thursday, July 8, 2020 at 11:45 am in the International Ballroom. Tickets are $65 until June 26, 2020 and onsite for $70 until Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 12 noon. Click here to RSVP.
